Waiting on Spring

In Canada the best weather belongs to Vancouver. We have the mildest winters and never get all that much snow. That said we had the worst winter in 40 years. But thats the past and moving forward we have had great weather. Today the sun is out and the song birds are singing. Soon we will have tulips blossoming in all the city parks. And from Victoria to Vancouver we will have the annual tulip blossom count. If memory serves me correctly that count will get into the millions. And this will happen when the rest of Canada is still covered in snow. They must hate us at the news, a million tulips in Victoria/Vancouver and snow over the rest of Canada……
Our summers are also fabulous! Not to hot, just right.
This is not to say that the rest of Canada has bad weather all year round. I have never been to Ontario or Quebec but I hear that fall is fabulous there! The colours of the foliage would be worth the trip alone.
Spring is not hear yet. We had the smallest dusting of snow yesterday. But today is a beautiful spring like day in Vancouver. It has me thinking of Spring. March is just around the corner and with it my birthday and 14th anniversary with my partner MomoG.
